This is a specialized sub-index of downloadable graphics which can be printed as decals, transfers or scale paper accessories. It's currently a consolidation of things which have appeared elsewhere in the website. A big thanks to the contributors, and especially Jun Matsui's M-Deck for inspiring a flood of imitators (like me)!

Printing as a Tool (article) A general introductory article about using your printer to add little touches of realism to 1:6th scale figures. Modern Passport- People's Republic of China (33kb) at 600 dpi produces a 2 cm cover (guesstimated scale size)

Modern Passport- British (60kb) 600 dpi; I think this one actually came from Hong Kong before it was "liberated".

Modern Passport- Swiss (25kb) 600 dpi; The Swiss are innovative and fold theirs sideways.

Biohazard sign (19kb) at 300 dpi produces a 3.03 cm red label. Dunno what you'd use this for, but if you blew it up you mebbe could use it in your bathroom.

BC611 radio tag (20kb) at 600 dpi produces the .7 cm Handy Talkie tag which I used in the "Dirty Dave" article. It's a photo of the real thing, but highly contrast enhanced so that it's reasonably readable when printed.

Panzerfaust 60 instruction sheet (44kb) at 300 dpi produces a 3.5 cm wide instruction sheet with special tips for deer hunting. Safety first!

Las Vegas Souvenir Playing Cards- Super cheesy; the real thing shamelessly rips off Playboy magazine with poor repros-- this degrades the images even further! Print at 300 dpi for a 5 cm x 3.64 cm matrix of 9 cards per page (approx. 60k each); Page 7 is the card back. I recommend consolidating the pages into print masters if you're nuts enough to bother. 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7

The following were submitted by David Williams (website) of Australia, and he's contributed stuff to other sections below. Most of the graphics are preset to print at 300 dpi.

WWII Lucky Strikes Cigarette packs (110kb) Print 'em, cut 'em & glue 'em. Includes:

1939 Green version
1940 Green version
1942 White version
1944 White version

WWII US matches (28kb) You got smokes, you need matches (be careful when applying phosphors to the matchheads!)

WWII German "Privat" Cigarette pack (38kb) "The original image was only of the box face so the rest is a guess recreation of mine, the packet has been done in the clam shell form as most photo's period cigarettes I have seen appear to be in that style, also the dimensions are based on that I have assumed that the cigarettes would have been much the same length as those found in the Lucky Strike packets."

WWII German Topographical map (170kb) If it hadn't been for maps like this, they might have lost the war. Hey... They did lose the war! (However, their figures are winning the post-war retail war.)

Mine stencil (64kb) This is 3 graphics on one document, and it's probably better if I let David explain this (text file). This would probably work best as a decal with a transparent background. Adjust print resolution as necessary; Whatever works for ya!

1940 Green Luckies (108kb) from Kyle

1930s Passport- German (30kb) at 600 dpi produces a 1.83 cm half-cover. I'm not sure where I got this or what the actual dimensions are supposed to be. You'd need to make the back cover for this.

1930s (or 1910) Money- German (61kb) at 600 dpi produces a 2.1 cm wide "Reichsbanknote". Again, I'm not sure who to credit or what the actual dimensions are supposed to be. (BTW, Not legal tender.)

(rev 04/18/00) Stencil Fonts (shareware/freeware) (77kb) This .zip file contains a sampling of useful truetype fonts for producing military lettering. David Williams sent these and used the "crass" font in his mine stencil above. He also recommends it for modern US vehicles. (Links to website sources for fonts are listed below.)

The following sampling of WWII posters came from Volume 24 of "Illustrated World War II Encyclopedia", 1978 Orbis Publishing. The scale size of 6 cm wide at 300 dpi is guesstimated.

Jun Matsui's M-Deck website (downloadable graphics) He gets credit for the guy who started it all. His modern cigarette packs served as the templates for my own, and he's got grenade labels, Playboy magazines, helmet covers, insignia... Definitely check it out!

Jim's Printable Mini's (downloadable graphics) A dollhouse page, but lots of miscellaneous graphics for downloading and printing. 1:6th is considered "Play Scale" here (so I guess that answers the question of play vs realism :^); with a scale calculator to make conversions easy.
