The first minen skull I supplied (the top 2 skullheads: 1st is sharp-edged for a brushed look, and second is soft-edged, for an airbrush look--Jimbob) was loosely based on the Panzer Skull which I then stencilised just to see how it looked. I have since found a couple of photo's of an actual sign ( the same one I used previously to judge the dimensions but of better quality in regards to clarity ) with enough detail for me to create a more accurate representation of the sign. Although stencils in the two pictures differ slightly, their likeness would suggest a common stencil source that has then been embellished by hand, to this end I have made a best guess as to what the stencil template would have looked like. All in all this is a much less fictitious version than the first ( and to be honest is my preferred version being based on a verifiable reference ), however I think the two stencils should complement each other nicely showing the all to common variation in application that actually happens in the field.
